Online dating/men height

Do men get shamed for their weight preferences? 🤔

Note that OLD sites require you to enter a height but never a weight, so we can see which gender’s preferences are considered more imp

On most OLD sites, you can list a body type (e.g., slim, athletic, BBW, etc.) .

Which is irrelevant because even the most morbidly obese woman will say she has an "average" body type.

This person got a spouse so there is hope for all you singles out there.

They've got a point, though. Online dating is still creepy and weird and for people who can't interact with real people in real life. It's so gross to put yourself out there as stats and hope someone picks you. I am not sure it's good that the stigma of online dating is gone. People are all Wall-E characters living life through their screens now.

See? Another signal of hope for you singles. If PP and previous PP could find partners, you singles will be boo'd up in no time.

I fart as I pass fat women at the grocery store.

Why the animosity for BBW women?

You mean manatees? No man wants anything to do with a couch-sized beast.

Just as suspected...fine short men, aka "a nice guy".

+1 I'm so glad I'm happily married and not in the dating pool. I met my DH from work.

When did you meet your DH at work?

When he pushed the button under his desk that locked the door of his office and said, "come to daddy!"

? when I was in my late 20s. Or are you saying that 20 years ago, online dating wasn't a thing? Yes, it was.. as was speed dating.

I have a couple of friends who met their LTR partner online years ago. Yes, it can work. And I guess if you've exhausted all other means and methods, then online dating could be just another source. I just find it really weird.

Why all the hostility? Having preferences is not a crime

I do. Tall men are too busy noticing.

yes because men are superficial, so now women are, too. Women can be choosier now than before. I think that's why there are so many incels. They don't like that women are choosier now.

lol

Oh back in the good old days before women were superficial...

"back in the good old days" as you call it, women didn't have a lot of options, so they didn't have the luxury of being too superficial. They can now since they have more options.

Men, oth, could be superficial because they held all the power and bank accounts. Now that things are more equal, they are not happy that women are being just as superificial.

Hence, incels.

It's more online dating that caused this, less so women being financially independent. Online dating led to a small number of attractive men monopolizing casual sex which coincided with the rise of hookup culture. Most men are locked out of hookup culture which leads many to become frustrated and bitter.

Unlike all the fat old single moms who are not frustrated and bitter at all that those attractive men want young, hot, childless women and not them.
