Holy. Effing. Hell. ^^^^^ DC residents, here is the one and only good thing that can come of this: look through his FB photos ^^ before they're taken down. Now ... contact your councilmembers (unless they're Brianne Nadeau or Charles Allen, in which case, don't bother) and demand that the system for vetting the paraprofessional adults who take care of your DCPS kids in aftercare, playground, etc. |
DC residents are more outraged than you can imagine. I still don't understand why people continue to support Bowser. |
+1. Even if you make all guns super duper illegal, if a city practices a “catch and release” approach to armed criminals, then those criminals will keep committing gun-related crimes. |
+1 million Make your voices heard. |
Yes, can't believe he was employed by Janney aftercare!! |
Well, Janney parents haven't come on here to confirm or deny that; who knows how long ago or for how long. He was booked in June 2020 in MD for armed car-jacking and posted bond the same day. That's the booking photo on all of today's news things. In September 2020, he was working construction (see September 15 2020 post on that builder's FB page) https://www.facebook.com/kirlinbuilds |

WaPo article also states that the poor 6 year old victim’s own father is a drug dealer and in a gang, has been arrested and was already under investigation. The shooting is believed to be targeted because of him, the father, and that his gang had some sort of beef with the shooter.
So at the end of the day, this poor little girl had a drug dealing gang member for a father. She was shot because of that, not because she was riding a scooter at 11pm. Her own father’s activities. It’s terrible. |
This would somewhat explain the difference in Bowser's response compared to the Nats game. How to hug the dad "I grieve with you, you @#$^%^%$^&":&*^%^$*" |
It's on his Linked In page but, yeah, maybe not for long. |
I don't live in DC. I am curious about something..... Does DC have a rule that employers are not able to ask if someone has been convicted or charged with a felony on the employment application? |
It's on his Linked In page but, yeah, maybe not for long. Yes, I saw it be the only item on there with no dates at all. It could have been his first job for a few months when he turned 18 (so, 2017?). Already plenty of "oh hell no" items on his public Facebook by then, though, the drugs, showing off cash, the gun - all were on there when he was a minor. |
It’s on A LinkedIn page, which has no details except the Janney aftercare job, no dates, no photo, and only one connection. Are we sure it’s a real LinkedIn profile? |
I checked in Maryland and DC and he doesn't have a lengthy rap sheet. He's actually got zero prior convictions. There's the open PG county case for something that's some combination of having a gun and stealing a car (the armed carjacking charge got dropped when it was moved to Circuit Court, but he still has wearing a loaded gun and transporting a gun on the highway, along with vehicle theft charges), but that's it other than some traffic tickets. Nothing in DC. |
| To those saying we don’t know this or that or has this been confirmed? Yes, it has been confirmed by the head of Janney+. All you need to do is email her, and she will tell you. The person who was arrested is the same person who worked at Janney+, BUT he last worked there in 2017. It’s impossible to say whether his Facebook profile was similarly public back then, but his pictures from 2017 and earlier were unfortunately bad and should have been cause enough not to hire him, if they were readily accessible (public). |
He probably needed to take his daughter to a doctor's appointment. |
