Read to the end.

Whenever actors say they don’t like labels (gay or straight) and don’t say who they are dating, they’re gay.

Sam Heughan is the same way. He had a beard for a while (a no name “actress”) who attended some public events with them. She lived in the US while he’s always lived in the UK. And he frequently travels with another actor. Before he got famous, he was out (but nobody knew who he was; he was just a theater actor). His people scrubbed his internet presence to remove info on his boyfriends once outlander started.

Rege-Jean attended red carpets with a female actress who also looks gay. Everything else online says he’s single, private, and shuns labels.

Why is this important to you?

I think there is one poster who is obsessed with outing male stars as gay, particularly Sam Heughan, but others too. I've noticed just in casual reading of these forums because it is so oddly specific and get shoehorned into a variety of posts.

Give it up, poster, no one cares!

Sam Heughan lobbied hard for the Bond role.

Despite his ridiculous body, huge fan base, and superhero and spy roles, the gay rumors took him out of the running.

^^^
That’s the relevance to a thread that seems focused on Bond.
lol so if he’s gay, he can’t play Bond? And his features are too feminine??? Prince William corners the market on thin lips and bulbous noses and people find/found him attractive. European men have been doing the metrosexual blurred lined sexuality for years. I don’t care if he’s gay, I think he’s a good looking guy who would make an excellent Bond or Bond like character. I’m excited about his new Netflix role and any other roles that keep him on my screen for years to come. He seems genuine and his personality is charming based on the interviews he’s done in the States. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he has certainly made a splash thus far.

Um...nobody has ever found Prince William attractive.

LOL were you alive in the early 2000s?

He’s too old and didn’t want the role. The end.

Even though there are stuntmen, actors probably need to do enough action that they could get injured. Maybe he didn't want to do this at his age.

I remember reading (years ago) that he didn’t want to be known as a particular character. He has made it clear he never wanted to be Bond.

Totally agree.

The James Bond former actors all seem to have followed a transition from rough normal guy next door to more suave looking prettyish-handsome. Except for Daniel Craig - who looks like they found at the back of a Irish biker bar and asked his Uncle 'which of your nephews breaks the most kneecaps?'

I've seen Craig in person/during a live talk and I will tell you he is a very good actor. Extremely non- James Bond like in person, but still wildly attractive.

I was initially unsure of Craig in the role of James Bond but he really grew on me. Can’t wait to see the next Bond movie.

RJ has an ego. He quit in a huff after duking it out with Shonda.

This reminds me of David Caruso thinking he was hotter and more popular than he really was. Crashed and burned in the sophomore slump.

RJ’s next move better include Netflix or HBO level gratuitous sex scenes and nudity. That’s what made him popular, not his acting. And, people like Brits in romantic period pieces. If he plays an American in an action film, people won’t care.

And interestingly Daniel Craig was more "alpha" male than previous Bonds, who were all generally sophisticated, attractive and "could" have come across as gay.

If he’s not like Bond in real life is he like his character in Knives Out? 😀

Remember all the stars who left the tv show that made them famous and then their careers stalled?

Remember all the stars who left the tv show that made them famous and then their careers stalled?
And the many who left and their careers took off. .. some shows actually end because the star leaves/decide not to renew. I guess all those soap actors should’ve stick around?

And George Clooney should've stuck to ER!

I get that this is all subjective, and I mean this in a not-serious way, but I cannot fathom how anyone wouldn't find this man unbelievably, stop the presses, full stop gorgeous. It's baffling to me!
