Read to the end.

Whenever actors say they don’t like labels (gay or straight) and don’t say who they are dating, they’re gay.

Sam Heughan is the same way. He had a beard for a while (a no name “actress”) who attended some public events with them. She lived in the US while he’s always lived in the UK. And he frequently travels with another actor. Before he got famous, he was out (but nobody knew who he was; he was just a theater actor). His people scrubbed his internet presence to remove info on his boyfriends once outlander started.

Rege-Jean attended red carpets with a female actress who also looks gay. Everything else online says he’s single, private, and shuns labels.

Why is this important to you?

I think there is one poster who is obsessed with outing male stars as gay, particularly Sam Heughan, but others too. I've noticed just in casual reading of these forums because it is so oddly specific and get shoehorned into a variety of posts.

Give it up, poster, no one cares!

Sam Heughan lobbied hard for the Bond role.

Despite his ridiculous body, huge fan base, and superhero and spy roles, the gay rumors took him out of the running.

^^^
That’s the relevance to a thread that seems focused on Bond.

You don’t need to be sorry.
Enough people do, which is why Bridgerton did so well and why this guy is being considered for Bond. He’s a money maker. Maybe not your money, but I’m sure there are other things you don’t love or buy that is doing quite well!

lol so if he’s gay, he can’t play Bond? And his features are too feminine??? Prince William corners the market on thin lips and bulbous noses and people find/found him attractive. European men have been doing the metrosexual blurred lined sexuality for years. I don’t care if he’s gay, I think he’s a good looking guy who would make an excellent Bond or Bond like character. I’m excited about his new Netflix role and any other roles that keep him on my screen for years to come. He seems genuine and his personality is charming based on the interviews he’s done in the States. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he has certainly made a splash thus far.

Sam Heughan’s face is too square shaped and blocky to be Bond.

Idris Elba should be Bond. The end.

He’s too old and didn’t want the role. The end.

Um...nobody has ever found Prince William attractive.

There’s a DM article today quoting Kate Winslet about how she knows 4 actors whose agents told them to not talk about their sexuality since it would be a career killer. She’s calling Hollywood homophobic.

He's also completely Dullsville outside of the period-drama costuming. He looks quite generic in a modern haircut and clothing.

He is very good looking. None of the swagger that the other Bond actors had. For some reason he triggers my gaydar. I hope he kills it as Bond.
Anonymous
So handsome. Got gay vibes from him, perhaps it's cultural, but really who cares? Would love him as Bond.
Anonymous
I don’t think Sam is gay. I think he’s a huge player. Do a deep dive. He’d be perfect for Bond.
Rege can be after him.

+1. This happens with certain actors, and it must be certain posters who are really into discussing it. I see that the "Sam Heughan is gay" poster has arrived. It's weird that an actor's real-life sexuality is a contingency in deeming them attractive in their roles.
