How long do you work out per day?

8-10 hours per week, mix of swimming, biking, running, walking. Mostly triathlon training stuff. I also do 20min of yoga per day. One day per week is just easy walk/yoga.

30-45 minutes 5 days a week with the strength/HIIT routines from fitness blender. I realized this style of workout has me in great shape, feeling and looking awesome, and is very time efficient. I don't do anything extra except walking the dog and not being sedentary throughout the day.

90 - 120 minutes, 6 days a week

Pre-covid, it was a little over an hour but I feel as though I need to compensate for the non-moving factor as I am still wfh and will likely go back to a little over an hour when things open up more and I move more. But I will not return to a gym since I purchased all I need this past year.

Do you work or have kids? I get up at 4:15 am just so I can get an hour in and that’s killing me. Where the heck do you people find the time for more than that?

I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

This is the best post ever on DCUM! Hilarious!

At least 30 minutes per day. I have a pretty demanding job and three three kids (11, 9, and 5). Finding time to exercise has always been a priority, though I've had to learn to be more efficient! When I was younger I used to work out so much longer, but the truth is that I'm currently in the best shape of my life doing 30 minute HIIT style youtube workouts. Pre-Covid, I could squeeze in a workout over my lunch (and then eat at my desk). Now that I'm working remotely, I work out whenever I can squeeze it in - I put my computer nearby so I can monitor work, which means that a 30 minute session can sometimes take an hour due to breaks for email.

I do my physical-therapist prescribed back exercises every day. Takes 30 minutes.

I do more rigorous stuff in addition to the back exercises about four-five times a week. That takes an hour, so it’s an hour and a half total.

90 minutes. But its really a 60 minute workout plus a separate 30 minute walk with the dog

I do 60-75 minutes, 5 to 6 days a week.

I have a lot of free time after work, though. If I had to get up at 4:15 (or honestly even 6:15) to exercise, I probably just wouldn't do it. I'm 49 and had my kids in my 20s so they're gone.

I probably do 30 minutes of pretty intense workout, 30 mins of walking, and 20 mins of stretching each 3x a week.

30 min on stationary bike, 10-15 min strength training with weights

Orange theory 2-3 times a week (1 hour class) followed by a 30-1 hour fast walk. 45- 1 hour of moderate-intense outdoor cycling 2x a week, followed by walking again. 1 day with just hiking for about 90 mins/4-5 miles. 1 day yoga and treadmill.

I could have written this. HIIT workouts plus targeted strength training is the most effective and efficient way to exercise. I do this 30-45 min 4-5 days per week but am otherwise active. Cleaning, hikes with kids, tennis, swimming with kids, out running errands.
