Igonance is bliss I guess.Celtic 07 is the best team in MD. OPSA is solid when they have teams. Dont have good ones at all ages but 04 - 08 are strong. FCGB 06 plays in top flights. Their 07 team is strong and both 06 and 07 have taken bsc kids. CCSC is good across the board as they have no competition for players because of location. Expand your box

Isn't Celtic a GA club? Also, FCGB is pretty strong at the 06 and 07 ages. They can compete with ECNL and GA teams. At the 05 level, Coppermine in BaCo and MSI in MoCo are competitive teams. OPSA doesn't have teams at every age group but those that do compete are elite. Herndon has competitive teams at the across various age groups.
To be realistic, ECNL and, to a lesser extent, GA offer better platforms that EDP. DI and YNT scouts are not going further than ECNL or GA showcases. Maybe some might go to JefCup. |

As far as I know from Instagram, 3 from FCV, 1 from VDA, 4 from Richmond. I think they’re all 05s. |

There used to be three. The 05 ODFC turned FCV team, the 05 Pipeline team, and the 05 Mont Rush team ... but guess what ... they are all playing on ECNL and GA teams now (either the whole teams moved are large groups of players). Why? Cuz GA and ECNL are better leagues with better exposure and competition. Stop kidding yourselves, ECNL and GA are the premier girl's platforms by leaps and bounds. Yes, there are some good girls in the other leagues here and there and maybe a competitive team once in a while, but by the 8th or 9th grade almost all the best girls are playing GA or ECNL and are getting financial assistance if needed. |
