I also noticed this. It was very bad in the first episode. I immediately knew something was off and that the season would be weird. The actors seemed to lose their chemistry if that makes sense. They were not vining well.

Maybe they had to film a bunch of stuff separately and then piece it together because of covid? Dunno. I'm bummed this season wasn't as good, but honestly was anyone's work at its peak this year? For that I'll give them slack and Conner back.

I find her irredeemably annoying. I don't demand perfect characters by any means, but everything about her just sucks.

Yeah she called her four year old child a pervert. I hate the writing for this show. It has gone overboard in the worst possible way.

On the subject of Jenny, I agree she’s irredeemable. I wish they had followed her ex’s storyline rather than her. He was the more interesting character and I liked the angle of a SAHD. Jenny is probably the most unlikable character on television and just kills any episode she’s in, which is sad because as mentioned previously, they’re probably keeping her character around for “diversity’s” sake.

I imagine they’re now going to take her arc and turn it on its head - make her totally fall in love with her baby and become a changed person. Anything else is just too sad to think about. She’s awful.
