It was poorly executed. A random ex we never heard of before ended up being the season cliff hanger. Do the creators of this show not plan ahead at all?

Also, Nathan said that they broke up because she wanted to have kids right away and he wasn’t ready and didn’t understand her rush. So we’re supposed to now understand she was already pregnant when they had that conversation and decided to do it on her own when he said he didn’t want a kid yet.

I liked it fine. I liked the evil lady in white and wish they played up the devil buying Kate with sin more. But the photo shoot...really? I like the daughter is now getting to be normal but it bothered me that the dick creationist kid's mom didn't come off as a science-doubting fundy at all. That's what bothered me.

Completely agree with what all has been posted here. I loved the first few seasons and then it just started to fall flat. The kids are barely seen or mentioned, I have no idea how old they are all supposed to be. It’s nice to see the part about the working women, but you rarely are seeing anything about the mom part any more.

“I’m Sorry” had such a better balance and it’s also extremely funny. So upset it was canceled, but at least we have two good seasons to rewatch.

Aw just finished. Did not enjoy much until the last two episodes of the season, and poof! Done.

I really like Frankie (and want to know how she styles her hair). I was worried the death would throw her into depression again.

I agree it got better in the last 2 episodes but it was a lot to slog through to get to it. Who am I kidding though? I'll definitely watch the next season. Sigh.

Having worked in publishing, it drove me crazy that they went from a "yes, we'll publish your book" straight to a media tour the very next day. And then from choosing a cover to having printed copies right there? Sorry but no. And very unlikely someone would pay for a first time author getting a pr rep holding her hands all along the way. Wouldn't that be nice.

I thought this season was awful and disjointed. And the scenes with Val’s 2 sons made me cringe. Especially having two little boys. Good grief.

Val has always been over the top, but this season her character was so ridiculously bad. Progressively worse each season.

I wonder if the creators realized how poorly the season was going and got together and said "we need a huge cliffhanger or we're done for." And then made up the ex girlfriend.

I definitely binged watched this, no doubt. And laughed out loud once or twice - which is more then I did the past 2 seasons. I feel like they really jumped the shark again and this season was more disjointed with plots just being cut off. And Anne - they have her so angry all the time. It's hard to get how she and Kate are best friends.
