We don’t need former Governor Bag Man running things. He is a part of the old Democratic Party - a relic of the right wing Bill Clinton past

Justin Fairfax is the new blood we need to bring Virginia forward. Frankly, all of the above posters trying to stamp out his chances of running for Governor are coming across as more than a bit racist

Dude, he sexually assaulted women.

And even if it turns out that the allegations were false, the way he treated those women, the whole situation, was just disgusting. He’s terrible.

Rs more likely to stand up to the unions (collective bargaining kicks in 2021) but Ds more likely to actually give the $ that schools need to make the necessary improvements. Ugh. Why can’t the Rs exile the wackos in their party. I probably agree with Rs more on policy but I just can’t handle the gun nuts and conspiracy morons.

Same here.

Vote for Pete Snyder then. He is simply conservative and pro-in person learning. Not a wacko at all. (We know him personally)

Again, no one will have the opportunity to vote for a non-wacko Republican because there won’t be a Republican primary election, and instead the Virginia Republican Convention will nominate a wacko Republican. Enjoy!

No women are voting for him. Period. And there are a whole bunch of white collar POC that do not enjoy his use of the race card to try and counter the allegations of being a rapist.

It's just..... so gross.

If you want schools to be open, you should vote for a gun nut. There are plenty of people who will talk about opening schools. But then after being elected they will cave when they see some headlines in the Washington Post or elsewhere that they are killing teachers.
It is important to vote for someone who will keep going and not be afraid of being attacked. This is why Florida is open now.
The gun nuts as you call them are used to it along with pro-life candidates, and are less likely to bow under pressure. It's almost always the pro-choice and pro-gun control Republicans who can be expected to waver on voting for tax cuts and other Republican issues.
Though lately the elected Republicans are just getting money from corporations and waver less on tax cuts as long as there's special goodies for their donors tucked in.

“The Republican Party of Virginia has voted four times since December to nominate its candidates for this year’s statewide races at a convention instead of in a primary election. But in a sign of the Trumpian times of denial and dispute in the G.O.P., nearly half of the party’s top officials keep trying to reverse the results and get a primary.”

Kirk Cox seems like one of the few people in the Virginia GOP who has learned anything from the last decade of Virginia politics. Nominate Cox in a convention and there is a good shot at victory. Go to a primary and look forward to 4 more years of single party rule.

Chase has already said she will run on her own.

Does Fairfax have a slogan yet?

How about: "Justin Fairfax, He won't take No for an answer!"

All in Pete Snyder because OPEN SCHOOLS.

What else is he about? Not interested in fake Terry McAuliffe, crazy Amanda Chase, wild socialist Lee Carter or one-trick pony Jennifer Carroll Foy. Many candidates but few quality ones.

Whoever approves legalization of cannabis. That’s who will win. The rest is cloud, smoke, and mirrors.

If you want schools and businesses open the only vote is Republican.
