How’s the honey? Btw don’t be disappointed if you get hit with a delivery fee. I often order a lot to meet the minimum, but more often than not things are out of stock and my order gets bumped under the delivery minimum and I get hit with the fee.

I ordered three times in april and it didn't go well.
The cream cheese was expired (by a month) and most weeks I didn't get much of anything I was depending on. Maybe it's better now. At one point they stopped delivering meat too. I gave up.

NP. Agree, but I'm so frugal and I know i can make a great coffee cake myself (or at least with the trader joe mix that calls for a stick of butter) for a fraction of the cost... is this cake really that amazing?

I used to be a South Mountain delivery customer. I liked the products but couldn't deal with the business office. If this is you you might look into 4P which is a company which amalgamates products from small farmers and delivers weekly. They have produce meat and dairy options. South Mountain is one of the dairy suppliers. You can skip any bag or any week totally easily from your account. I swear I do not work for them--I've been a customer since March and am just really happy with it.

Well, I'd really like to go to bed but I'm still up waiting for my delivery. There's no way my cooler and ice packs are going to keep all of the dairy and meat products at a safe temperature until morning, particularly not when I set it all out at 3 pm. Our deliveries had been occurring around 6 pm for the last couple of months or so. I'm beginning to wonder if they forgot to deliver to me, like they often forget items in my order.

What cooler and/or ice packs are you all using?

And yes, I always tip.

For everyone raving about the coffee cake, it's no different than freezer aisle crap. Loaded up with oil. Our neighborhood bakery uses butter...

"Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, canola oil, eggs, cinnamon, milk, baking soda"

Trader Joe's mix with a stick of good butter will make a better and healthier coffee cake for your family. South Mountain Creamery's website says their coffee cake is loaded with canola oil.

Another Monday, another missing item from my order. Thanks to the PP with the suggestion about the other company. I’m getting tired of not knowing what will come and what won’t. Pretty hard to meal plan that way when a box of meat or produce decides to not show up.

Bump. Orange Blossom Honey Chèvre. Oh. My. I ate the log myself in two sittings. Delicate flavor, creamy like butter.

The cinnamon bread is really good for toast — especially if, like me, you aren’t a raisin fan. And the fact that it’s not pre-sliced means you can choose your own crispy:soft ratio.

I also think their nonfat milk is better than grocery store 1%.

We were thinking of restarting with SMC. Are they pretty reliable now? We had so many problems at this time last year we couldn’t take anymore.
