Only on DCUM can a discussion about literally being on the rag lead to a Penthouse Forum entry. PS-all the talk about the Diva Cup led me to the website (I'm really thinking about getting one-on the official website they sell for like $40 but I found a site that sells them for twenty plus S&H). But you gotta see the Diva Wash product on the main site-it is recommended for washing your Diva Cup but also doubles as facial and body cleanser. ![]() |
i wear nothin at night and when periods come I just put a towel under myself. if I'm home During the day I just go to the bathroom n sit to let the gush go n wash myself. |
Hahaha |
I absolutely love my DivaCup. It's so much more comfortable than a tampon. And it lasts for years. You never need to worry about running out, you don't have to deal with it as often (unless you're a particularly heavy bleeder, which I'm not), and once you get the hang of it, it's no more difficult. |
And you wonder why your hunbands won't have sex with you for months at a time? This thread is unreal. I hope those who use nothing or rags or whatever do not have college degrees because they should really be requesting refunds. |
Are you kidding? You obviously went to some ultra conservative university like Brigham Young or something. There is nothing uneducated about questioning the use of toxic plastic products for a natural body function. |
Ok but how does it not leak through to your panties? |
You use ticker, more absorbent fabrics and a lining of fleece can help keep it from leaking. I have used only washcloths, or traditional pads, and I haven't leaked with the wash cloths and I always leak with pads. |
Could be either non-college educated but earthy aware or lots of education and environmentally aware. |
I'm guessing that this particular poster was trying to be funny. Otherwise, I find it hilarious how many women are sooooo squeamish by the thought of using anything but plastic to catch their blood. Big feakin' whooop, so there is some period blood to wash out of something. Personally I think that plastic pads are gross. They always made me sweat and itch. And tampons are so absorbant that they totally dry out the vagina, making it difficult to insert the next one. I much prefer basic cloth pads (like Luna pads) and/or the Diva cup. I've used a combination of those things and they are great, especially postpartum when the last thing you want is some plastic pad sticking to your stitches that are trying to heal. |
Does anyone else wonder if this whole thread was planted by people paid by Diva cup? I have to compliment them on their efforts, because I think I might go out and buy one. |
Haha I know I sound like I work for them in some of my comments, but I definitely don't. I'd love to suggest it to all of my friends, but it isn't something I want to post all over my facebook....you know? |
I think the Diva cup posts are for real. The women I know that have them
(and are willing to discuss it) rave about them. Maybe they are planting mind control devices...hmmm. |
Honey, you read my mind. I was thinking the same thing- I mean, some of the posts on here sounded like testimonials. I really hate having my period (and who doesn't) and my interest in this product kept ebbing and flowing. Well, I finally decided to get one and you know what sold me? It comes with a free lapel pin. |
OK, you busted me. I am not a real DCUM. I'm actually an SF-based viral marketer hired by the creators of the crocheted mouse cat toy / reusable tampon and I'm trying to get the word out that multi-purpose products like this are very eco. Just remember to rinse it after Fluffy has dragged it under the couch. |
