If I was going to go cloth - and not just buy a Luna Pad or Glad Rag - I'd probably use an insert like you'd use with cloth diapers. |
I don't use anything. I just wash my underwear and pants. A Lot.
That's really the most natural way. |
OMG this is the funniest and most educational thread I've seen in a long time. I LOL'd so hard I gave myself the hiccups.... and yet I'm thinking about giving the cloth pads a whirl. |
Sitting in a shelter outside with nothing on down there during that time is the most environmental way. |
When I was younger I used to fantasize about just having baby after baby and not having to worry about my period. Then I discovered I would have a huge one after birthing a child and so now I just pray for a hysterectomy. |
I think squatting in a field would be even more natural. 23:33 - have you considered a Mirena? I haven't bought any products in the almost year since I got one. I do, however, have burgundy washcloths. I might need to throw them away after this thread. |
Well, sure, but I have a job. Can't squat all day. Have to pay the bills. |
Straight funky and nasty!!!!!!! Geez $5 bucks for some pads I D 10 T's |
You can telecommute from your shelter..... |
Please say what you do for a living. |
Only if you promise to wear pads |
Well, I know someone who has a red sofa, and when she has her period, she only sits on that sofa in case she has spills. I won't sit on that sofa when I come to visit. |
Ew. That's the sort of thing that if one does, one should just keep to oneself.
And invest in a steam cleaner. |
OMG! HA! |
I've actually used a washcloth overnight for years, with a tampon. I use a red, not burgundy one. It really is comfortable and unlike pads it doesn't leak and it's not hot since there is no plastic. Haven't worn one during the day though, hmmmm. |
