Oh, I see you are one of those led by his/her/their confirmation bias....no use showing you facts. |
+1 Another Fox News brainwashed specimen. |
| I've seen two different things posted here about swimming pools. One person said still closed, another said open if outdoors and no more than 25% capacity. |
Please show us the data or facts. or maybe you are like the pedophile that said..'We choose truth over facts' |
You do realize the risk to healthy people under age 60 is minimal right? You may come down with Covid-19 but the likelihood of dying is extremely low to many people. Like anything there is risk and you have to let people accept risk in their lives. Riding in a car carries a good amount of risk and likely more than Covid-19 to many of us. |
What state parks in moco have playgrounds? |
I found that on one of the moco reopening links listed above, but according to wtop, closed. https://wtop.com/coronavirus/2020/05/montgomery-county-coronavirus-update-may-28/ |
Only outdoor camps will be allowed. |
Most parts of Maryland are opening pools, but Montgomery County specifically is keeping swimming pools closed. |
Your octogenarian parents have lived their lives. Do we all stay indoors forever just because your parents have to as well? By the way, they are still more likely to die of a heart attack than covid-19. |
Seneca Creek State Park has playgrounds. |
MoCo pools remain closed, the rest of Maryland is permitted to open community pools at 25% capacity per Gov. Hogan's executive order. According to Evan Glass's twitter feed: "The following businesses and services remain closed: swimming pools, senior centers, fitness centers, movie theaters, shopping malls & nail salons. Certain outdoor recreation is permitted: golf courses, archery, campgrounds, horseback riding facilities & tennis courts." https://twitter.com/EvanMGlass/status/1266079324194701313 |
Oh, hi there, Gen Z. |
The risk of dying is low, but the risk of serious illness is not. And those serious illnesses lead to hospitalizations, impairment, and then bills. Lots of bills. And no, riding in a car poses a lower risk than COVID. Fewer than 40,000 car-related deaths last year. More than 100,000 COVID deaths in just a couple of months. You do you, but you are putting yourself and others at risk, and you'll still look like a dumb bitch in your casket. |
