Anyone know what this means? Can you get your hair colored/highlighted?

Of course!

From what I can tell, no pools. But everything else?

I don't think he talked about pools specifically. But if in line with Hogan's recommendations, then pools can open with 25% capacity if they meet a bunch of social distancing requirements.

I don't think so. They don't want people lingering in salons. Get your cut and move on.

OUTDOOR POOLS

Outdoor pools may also reopen Friday with strict safety guidelines including: 25% capacity restrictions and strict physical distancing and sanitization measures. Pool visitors will be required to sign-in and sign-out, and pools will be required to post signage warning anyone who is sick not to enter.

ugh ugh ugh

I really admired him for standing strong despite the criticism.

wish he had not caved.

i tried to watch his statement but he kept getting interrupted by people calling him a fascist and nazi

did he, i hope, enact more restrictions than hogan's phase I

Erlich is right that there is a HUGE difference between some of the MD counties where there have been very few cases vs MoCo, which is a hotspot.

The salon is by appt only, meaning if you are getting cut and color, they will set aside a longer time block. They aren't allowing pedicures or other non hair services at this time. You can get your hair done.

Totally disagree. Stay home, if you can and think you should. I havebto get back to work.

I understand that people want and need to get back to work, but the behavior of the press conference attendees was appalling. Total mob mentality. And a bit frightening. What are we becoming as a society?

Once PG and DC said they are starting phase one ,he had no choice but to go with the flow.

Here’s the list of what is and is not opening. Pools are staying closed.

Calling them "press conference attendees" seems like a euphemism, somehow.

Yay! The pandemic is over!

Wait, no, actually it isn't.

The pandemic won't be over for some time, but we have to get back to work and school. I'll get my hair done and you hang out in your house.

Do you think life will go back to normal? It won't. Or, if it does, we'll be right back with the stay-at-home order, again. The virus doesn't care that you want to get your hair done.

What metrics would make you feel comfortable before relaxing restrictions? I just never know if people think we should wait til the virus is gone or what...because we certainly can’t wait that long..

Yep. The crowd that thinks we HAVE to get back to normal because they got bored of being at home are utterly blind to reality.

Most of the loudest noises come from these two covidiots there is one behind Elrich. One woman in the dress left early. That's it. It was't a crowd even.
