From what I can tell, no pools. But everything else?

I don't think he talked about pools specifically. But if in line with Hogan's recommendations, then pools can open with 25% capacity if they meet a bunch of social distancing requirements.

OUTDOOR POOLS

Outdoor pools may also reopen Friday with strict safety guidelines including: 25% capacity restrictions and strict physical distancing and sanitization measures. Pool visitors will be required to sign-in and sign-out, and pools will be required to post signage warning anyone who is sick not to enter.

Isn’t that phase 2 and he only announced 1?

Relaxing restrictions is fine.

Back to normal, yay! is not.

Also it would be helpful if people realized that, no matter how bored they are with the stay-at-home restrictions, there's a good chance we'll have another round.

Yay! The pandemic is over!

Wait, no, actually it isn't.

The pandemic won't be over for some time, but we have to get back to work and school. I'll get my hair done and you hang out in your house.

Do you think life will go back to normal? It won't. Or, if it does, we'll be right back with the stay-at-home order, again. The virus doesn't care that you want to get your hair done.

That's fine. No one thinks it's over; nevertheless, we have to move on.

Plenty of people seem to think it's over. Including you with the "move on" language - as though it were over.

Elrich is being led by the nose by DC, PG and NOVA. The target numbers that are shown on the MoCo dashboard are not really being met, but then again several of them are pretty meaningless at this point (I mean, how can you have 14 consecutive days of decrease in deaths when you are down to averaging 5 per day?). It's about time to move on, but stage 1 is pretty useless without stage 2. I won't be happy till indoor gyms can open again and I have some reassurances about schools opening in the fall.

For real? Come on.

Reopening is happening - people will handle it differently but we all have to get on board. We aren’t putting the horse back in the stable, guys.

For better or worse, we are entering phase 1, 3 days after the rest of the state enters phase 2. If you disagree, then stay in your home. I don't want the 'Rona any more than you do, but I'm not going to hide in my home for years waiting for a treatment or vaccine which may never come. Don't worry, I'm not going to go buck wild Ozark style. I'm going to get my hair styled at a salon which will be following safety guidelines, as will I.

Yes, for real. That's how math works.

Have you been hiding in your home? Plenty of people in the county have been out all along, and I'm not talking about essential workers. Meanwhile my octogenarian parents really will be stuck in their home for years. On the other hand, at least they're alive, unlike 531 county residents so far. But hey, we gotta move on!

People are irrationally angry. I was stunned at the vitriol in the crowd. Insane!

I have been hiding in my home, excepting 4 times I went for medical care. I am burned the fock out, and have been suffering in many ways. Getting my hair styled seems frivolous and risky to you, but it will feel so good for me and will lift my spirits.

Seems fine. How is this a capitulation?

I thought the rest of Maryland was entering the completion of phase 1 (phase 1b?) on Friday, and then Phase 2 sometime next week.
