Chrome book Distribution

There was a form that said if the Chromebook was damaged you had to pay for the repair. It also said if you didn't bring it back when they asked, you had to pay $60.

How about you read what they send out rather than complain?

Can you get your own or do you need to use the ones provided by the school?
I asked because the high schools only offered this on Thursday morning and I didn't get there on time

Mcps purchases Chromebooks new. They don't purchase them off eBay

You can use any computer with chrome installed. Apparently you’ll be able to use iPads. You don’t have to have a chrome book specifically let alone one from the school.

Can someone recommend a chromebook for us to get for our kids? Our school is also giving them out but since we’re not in need, I feel bad taking them. But our kids don’t have devices or laptops yet either.

You don’t need a Chromebook, specifically. Consider a laptop for your 4th grader and they can share it.

Costco has some PC laptops starting at $300-$400. Plus free shipping. That’s the route we’re taking.
