I have so many questions, but also just fears about the circumstances and if it could happen to me. Has anyone else gotten really scared or shocked by something similar?

You need to get a life. You’re acting like a child died. Calm down.

No, I haven't. Worry about bigger things in the world, please. I'm more shocked that you have 44 year old friends with 20+ kids.

You need to get treatment for your anxiety.

Assuming these were the only two options, then yes. 40 over 20 for sure.

That’s the weirdest thing about this story by far.

Nobody does that in this day and age.

People thought I was young having my first at 27! You’d have thought I was a teenager by their reactions.

Oh pipe down. I had two at 24. I was happily married, educated and a home owner. Some of us mature faster I guess.

Having unprotected sex does not make you mature.

20+ children?! I feel for that woman’s uterus.

Lol. Were they wealthy?

I had my first at 23 and my last....surprise....at 42 when my oldest was a sophomore in college. When she was a senior her two year old brother stayed with her in her dorm room parents weekend and the two of them had a blast. You simply deal with life’s surprises and make the best of it.

It's shook.... if you're 20.

I'm PP. It's shook if you're ignorant, at any age.

Here come the young moms to justify the fact that they spent the best years of their lives chasing kids and changing diapers while the rest of us traveled and lived it up. Awww.

And now I'm 43 and both kids are in college while you have kids in diapers! I win. We travel a ton.

Traveling as a middle aged married couple is never going to be the same as the experiences you have traveling when you’re younger. I don’t know if it’s winning or losing. Just completely different experiences.

You hated that all your friends were having a blast in their 20s while you sat there feeding a baby. And it still clearly bothers you.

I travelled when young. It sucks when you are not rich. Now, I travel in luxury.
