They had THREE kids before age 24????
That’s the weirdest thing about this story by far. Nobody does that in this day and age. People thought I was young having my first at 27! You’d have thought I was a teenager by their reactions. |
Talk to your OB about this. If you are ovulating, you can get pregnant.
|
Then don't. |
Sorry about your dwindling energy! I'm doing just fine keeping up! (Maybe some ladies are just higher energy? Not trying to be snarky. |
My grandmother had my aunt at 46 (and a half!) when her other daughters were 16 and 23! Surprise! |
Oh pipe down. I had two at 24. I was happily married, educated and a home owner. Some of us mature faster I guess. |
Scared of what exactly? Do you know how babies are made? Do you think it's the immaculate conception and it will just 'happen to you?' This is the weirdest post ever. |
My best friend's high school sweetheart was a vasectomy reversal surprise - his two older siblings were already in college when his perimenopausal, nearly 45-year-old mom found out she was pregnant! They are Catholic and so anything but keeping the pregnancy was not an option. He is totally fine, by the way. We're pushing 40, both his parents are still around. |
But vasectomies are better now than they were 40 years ago. |
Really? I'm sure you'd find the energy. Keeping up with all the school aged activities at 50 would be a struggle? Not for most people. I genuinely think the people in these situations, as a PP stated...it keeps them young. Having tweens and teenagers in your house keeps you much more plugged into pop culture, young people, etc. It is what it is. Every baby at every age is going to have pros and cons. |
Facts are most highly educated people of a certain socioeconomic level are not having their kids by age 24 anymore. It's very regional too. But surely you must know that. So yes, in DC proper and inner ring more expensive suburbs, a woman is young to have a baby at 27. It's not about you. It's called data. |
Meaning, the vasectomy reversed itself... not that they had it reversed! |
That was my reaction too! The oops at 44 seems less dramatic than the multiple kids before 24. |
You pipe down. I was also educated and a home owner at 24. By myself, no less - some of us didn't need a husband to buy a house! |
Oop, here comes all the old mommies to talk about SES, and energy levels. |
