Do you give host gift when DC goes on vacation with another family?

Well, actually a lot of families are taking kids on private planes. My son who is 17 has been on trips with three different families with private planes. We also take kids on trips and to our vacation home often. No private plane, but I would notice if there wasn’t a thank you note. Not in an “I’m not hosting your kid again” way but it is poor manners and that’s always unfortunate.
