The game referenced (FCV vs Penn Fusion in November) that still isn't posted was a regularly scheduled DA game (e.g., not a showcase). http://www.ussoccerda.com/sam/standings/ss/schedule.php?containerID=MTIxMDQ5MjA=&v=3 Game ID: #6538383 (Sunday, November 24th, 2019) |
U13s don’t play showcase games. |
Local ECNL parent raging about weak local DA! Lol. Have you seen the mid-atlantic ECNL division? Lol. One good team per age group out of 11. |
+1 |
Thank you for proving the above message. ECNL has better competition. Your club played ECNL teams and either won by one, lost or tied. Stop thinking that all the FCV teams are above average it is laughable. |
| Hey. Is Gus still over there getting kids to come play for him and also sign up for futsal and then only showing up half the time or less to coach? Any dads coaching ad hoc this year? Fcv: where your money buys you half what you thought it would. I guess maybe not for the 6 girls da teams, but the rest ... oiyyy what a mess. |
Funny how scrimmages where cellar dweller MU has competitive games with “elite” ecnl teams they’re “just scrimmages”. Like I said there’s one team per age group out the 11 teams in ecnl mid Atlantic that could finish top half of the mid Atlantic DA divisions. Keep raging on! ECNL is the best!!! |
Yes, the whole area is diluted and that will be showing up in STJFCV results as the years move forward. Parity isn’t a bad thing, kids get to play in a competitive environment no matter which team they choose. |

I see FCV actually cares for “Development” of all players and not only about winning. They go to these showcases and have all great players touching the ball so recruiters can look at them. While other clubs care about winning towards propaganda. |
So the ECNL/FCV parent posting the game results why don’t you post the number of players that signed with college that played for these clubs? I would also add the college to see the difference. |
How does going to a showcase equal caring about development. Showcases are about exposure. They only Tweet about winning never the losses. Is the constant Tweeting about results not Propaganda? |
I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. If you looked at starts and amount of time in games, the starting 11 get the lion's share and the rest scrounge around for the remaining minutes. So how is this development? And how is this different than some other clubs? |
No one can sign in the 04 age group until next session but sure in a year we can post it. |
