Student attacked with taser in Oakton HS locker room

Lake Braddock has been rumored to have locker room issues as well. Just close the locker rooms if kids and their adult supervision can’t do better.

Your principal is like a warden. Shit stays calm when the warden is on game! The staff are the guards. Again, the school or prison is only as safe as the people running it. Time to clean up the shit that allows this kind of assault to take place.

Final thought - if kids had been, oh I don’t know, black, would we even be having this conversation? My guess is no since it would’ve been reported and kid would’ve been cuffed. Maybe it’s true that UMC white boys are untouchable

FCPS employee here. He was promoted before this news emerged. Although the Region 1 web site has not been updated, he is no longer listed in Outlook, which suggests he is no longer with the county.

Seems these thugs had been bullying the victim for awhile, and made a premeditated decision to do this.

Also, appears they only received a 1-day suspension.

While a completely awful incident, to immediately call for termination of administration without knowing all the facts sounds very juvenile and Trumpish. Maybe FCPS has 6 principals on standby to cover a school of 2800. I can guarantee before talking to the press and issuing an email to parents, Lane had to get the blessing of Gatehouse Dr. and FCPS attorneys. They have to interview victim, perpatrators, witnesses and teachers. They have to notify parents of all involved. Its a complete $hitshow.

Oakton parent of a freshman who knows 3 of the kids involved and wasnt aware of the incident until Wednesday like the public
