From the sounds of these posts ...these are not bashers....they are frustrated parents....

Yes. And hoping the management is reading these.

MC E 26 is a great example. Used to be a top team, but lack of growth, coaching, structure have turned them into a bad team.

25, 24, and 23 are all awful.

I only mention Midnight teams, the Carolina teams are some of the worst in the country

unfortunately it wont matter.....they will have a meeting, tell you about the great history of the club and never once approach the things that could have been done better head on.....oh and then ....nothing will change......leadership there could really do themselves a service by simply admitting the things they have done wrong.....then maybe people would actually see that they get it and they are addressing it.....but they seem to deflect instead of humble themselves

The MC Elite 2023 Carolina (B) team were scheduled for two different tournaments today, so at one, they had Midnight (A) players stand in and play twice the games. You don't think there's a problem with leadership? On a side note, the A team played in the B team bracket and tied one and won one, while losing every game in the A bracket. Again, leadership? At least put the teams in the right brackets and schedule them for one tournament at a time.

Do you have the link to the tournament results?

What are some good camps for middle schoolers out there? I know about Pro Lacrosse camp - my DD did it last year and learned so much. Any other camps? What about one day camps during the winter?

Wow.2023 and down looked awful. Are 2021 and 2022 at least good? They at least won some games. Sad to see what is becoming of the 2026 team. They do have some talented players.

What are the players/parents saying? Are they ready to leave?

Interesting that you were able to get to all these MC games given the times were spread out over the last two days.

So.... in all seriousness.....where can we go? what can we do? any other options nearby? I don't want to be in traffic going to Virginia.....is traveling north for Hero's practices doable? Is anyone doing that from the Bethesda area that could share their experience? I would imagine that ride is better than the ride to Pride and sounds like a better program.

I doubt MCElite players would be at a Heros level of play. Maybe Hoco?

Do you think it would be much easier to drive out to Howard County than to Falls Church, or even to DC, where many practices are held at Georgetown Visitation? And PP is right, if your DD has been playing MC, it will be a reach to make Hero's. It is one of the strongest teams of all, and the top team at some grade levels.

I looked it up too - they seem to hold some of their practice sessions at the St. James. I don't think you can count on all practices always being at Visi.

MoCo needs a quality lacrosse team.

While not easy, it is possible to live in Bethesda/Potomac and have your daughter on M &D. It worked out for us. She was able to do homework in the car on the ride up and fortunately her school was ok with us pulling her out early on occasion.
