fake and unpersuasive tough talk. the prosecution and FH were not far away from agreed punishment.

FH's defense and I assure, Huffman herself, were adamant about no jail time.

I assure you this is just the worse thing that could happen to poor, little her.

And considering 90% of DCUM thought she wouldn't get jail time at all - sweet, sweet justice.

14 days is nothing. She will barely have time to in process, and will likely stay in whatever the local version of the county jail is for the duration and will probably be released a few days early for lack of space. This is not a terrible sentence at all.

It's a lot worse than no jail time. County jail, being processed - both of those are gonna rock her world.

I don't think she's that delicate of a flower. She'll be fine.

If she knew she'd be fine , why did her legal team pursue the no jail time route ? She'll be coming out of federal prison as a convicted felon. Furthermore , it's quite possible that her acting career which wasn't exactly stratospheric is done. Moving forward , to say she's a liability is a gross understatement.

Who wants to go to jail?! And this is not some b-list actress. She has numerous awards and has been nominated for an Oscar more than once. She has shows that are on tv now. Now Lori, yeah she is a b-list actress.

Felicity's special on Netflix (When They See Us) is nominated for more than 10 enemies. I'm willing to bet the Netflix production team has not only uninvited her from the red carpet stroll but also the awards ceremony stage as well. She's got a starring role to boot.

Her career is dead.

Umm...ok if you say so. It’s very clear you just want her career to be dead bc you feel like she stopped your precious snowflake from going to college. She didn’t. At the end of the day, she will bounce back and be fine. It can and will be done.

Lori is also going to go away for an extended time. She will likely be processed into a long-term facility. There aren’t going to be cameras waiting outside the gates the entire time waiting to get pictures in case she gets sprung a little early. No one wants to go to jail, but even the Martha Stewart example isn’t similar, because Martha was away for a long time (it was more than a year, IIRC). Martha shows up on tv now. Did she take a hit? Sure. But no one really looks askance at her now. Felicity’s crime is likely going to be viewed similarly - just not a huge deal and no one was assaulted or died. She won’t get a lot of jobs for a while, but she’ll get something and then in a few years, she’ll be working again regularly. Lori has a bigger problem because her career was dependent on family shows and movies, and they will likely stay clear.

Proof ?

Lots of Hollywood celebs go to jail and come back bigger and better and a ton of curious and renewed fan base.
Martha Stewart, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Downey Jr, etc.

Lol what a basket case you are. Martha Stewart doesn't even own her namesake company which was sold at a price valuation significantly lower than what it once was. Lindsey Logan and Paris Hilton ??? Are you serious ? Loool

Reread what you wrote. You sound like a complete nut. None of these ppl are poor. They got to remain rich and keep getting richer. They will never be poor. And you forgot to mention Robert Downy. He was basically the face of Marvel! If he can bounce back like that than anyone can.

Vic

What is pre360? She has addiction issues and makes bad investments ( e.g. beach club in Mykonos)

Not to mention her parents stealing every dime she had as a child.

You're painfully naive to think the show business reserves the same fate to men and women, especially when one of the women being discussed is some horse faced criminal. She wasn't on anybody's must watch list before the scandal and she certainly won't be after the scandal. Her age isn't helping matters. As for remaining rich who cares ? This is a business built on image and reputation. You have no clue what you're mouthing off

I guarantee Lori has her own show and book 2 years post release.

Her daughter will also get a book deal out of it and a brand.

I think that FH is going to come away with a reality t.v. series. Maybe a show called "Cheater, Cheater Pumpkin Eater" where she goes around the country talking to people who have been caught cheating - thrown in jail, kicked out of school, had their careers ruined by their own cheating.

I'm sure there are some wild stories out there about the lengths that some people will go to get what they want. I can totally see FH doing a series like that.

She'll reinvent herself to play the evil, scheming, looks so sweet villain. Haha.

Two years post-release will be in 7 years. By then she'll have been off television for nearly a decade.

Trust me, no one will care about her want a reality show from her.

I really hope L.L. gets a significant sentence.

Smiling and signing autographs outside court was just obnoxious.

Spoken by someone who clearly knows absolutely nothing about Felicity Huffman or her husband. If looks mattered as much as you claim neither would be famous and neither nominated for numerous awards or won any. You can keep claiming whatever you want to happen but reality keeps shutting you down. And who cares about remaining rich?! Rich ppl care! Duh. You only wanted to point out Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Martha but guess what...you still know who they are. They are still in entertainment news. Martha has several shows on, a food delivery service and ppl still like her. I get it, it sucks bc you wanting someone to fail and then they make a come back. Reputation in the entertainment business is laughable and that just proves how silly you actually are.

You care enough to post and someone cares enough to watch the Full House reboot. Someone will care again in a decade. DCUM doesn’t even begin to represent the actual world.

She'll look like sh*t in 7 years. She'll have no access to routine "maintenance work" from her surgeon, she won't be able to dye her hair in prison, no facials, no mani/pedis....she is going to come out of jail looking like an old lady. Poor thing.

Full House reboot was canceled...

LL is going to lose her freedom, her career and her looks over this. And for what? How horrible would it have been for OJ to actually go to a school that she legitimately got into?

This whole thing was just so breathtakingly stupid.
