If they understood there was a possibility that the next random person they attacked might shoot one of them, you’d definitely see less stuff like this. But they know there is almost zero chance of that, so they’re not deterred. As proof of this, look at who they choose to attack: a random older white dude. Why? Because they know he won’t shoot them. He’s not a threat to them. Who DON’T they attack? Black men in their late teens or 20’s. Why? Because those are the people in DC who are most likely to be carrying a gun, albeit illegally. Because they know if they pulled this stunt on one of those guys, they’d get shot. Period. These punks aren’t stupid. |
Is that possible in DC? Very soft on youth crime. Being under 18 is the golden ticket in DC. |
If I’m reading this thread correctly 99.999% of the posters who are getting their jollies off bashing all the black youth in DC don’t even live in the District and are too frightened to step foot in the District so, no disrespect, but f__k their opinion ons. Y’all don’t live here, y’all don’t come here, and considering your xenophobic attitudes y’all ain’t welcome here so...

Does not matter.
If that guy died from head trauma, they would lol be tried for manslaughter or murder. Doe not matter if they were high, social upbringing, K2..... A boxer just died from head trauma while the other guy hitting him had boxing gloves on. I saw the guy I nDipont had his head stomped on a few times.. That could have easily killed him. Where is the Mayor on this? This happened in the “nice” part of DC. Would you feel safe in DuPont after this? |
| The msm is actually covering the story |
And certainly they would not hit any bystanders, what with it being in front of a big hotel in a busy neighborhood. Definitely safer. |
Yes, because the police should absolutely be sharing people's personal medical and psychiatric information with the public. That's what I'd want if I were a victim of crime, the police telling everyone and their mother that I had PTSD. |
This is an embarrassment and will have huge repercussions for DC moving forward. Some posters on here or Facebook are minimizing what happened, perhaps due to political agendas (those kids are the victims of 400 years of oppression) or real estate values but as an outsider looking in, whether I am a teacher organizing a field trip, a convention planner or a tourist from the Midwest or Europe, I would seriously think twice about visiting DC until the local leadership gets its sh*t together and gets the crime under control. A gang attack in one of the best neighborhoods in DC outside of one of its best hotels, near the diplomatic center of the city, sends the message that DC is not safe for visitors. |
| Wasn’t there a similar mob attack a few days earlier? |
Snort. Sure it will. |
| As a tourist, I have only one vacation a year and many destinations to choose from. Visiting a bunch of spread out oversized stone monuments dedicated to wars and men will be pushed even further down on my list especially since I risk being attacked by a random gang of thirteen year olds in front of my nice hotel. I’d rather go to Mexico and visit the pyramids. At least they are heavily guarded. |
Because we hear so often about *lawfully* armed citizens accidentally shooting innocent bystanders in self defense shootings, right? /s
You have the resources of the entire interwebz at your disposal. Find for us just 3 incidents - just three - where a person in public with a *legally carried* gun shot a innocent bystander or the wrong person by mistake. Go. Start searching. Let us know what you turn up. If it happens as often as you imply, it should be a quick task. We'll wait. |
