They are probably scared for their lives, maybe the man is still in the hospital and recovering from horrific injuries.

Also you can see that the brown male who manages to escape from the mob is recording them with his cell phone. He does this while trapped in the rotating door and continues to record their faces when he comes out. I guarantee that the cops have more footage they have not released yet. These are likely minors, so perhaps that's why they have not released the clearer footage yet.

It happened earlier this month. He is out of the hospital. "The man suffered head injuries and a left eye socket injury. The witness suffered a swollen left eye. They were treated at a local hospital."

I hope he is ok. This is so horrible.

If they are youth their identities will be withheld and they'll be out tomorrow to do this again. Thank you DC Youth Rehabilitation Act and bleeding heart city council. Ugh.

The attacking is disturbing. Compare the DCUM reaction, which I think is reasoned, to the Gateway Pundit comments, which are race baiting in the extreme.

This is the kind of b.s. that Russian trolls were behind in 2016. It is meant to stoke racism and incite both the right and the left. This is what needs to be stopped because it creates incidents like Ferguson, like Comet Pizza. This rhetoric can get people killed and we’re all being played.

It's estimated that the assailants may be as young as 13 or 14 years old.

Mmmm, no. Virginia has concealed carry. That’s why you see so much less of this stuff across the river than in DC or MD, where it’s practically guaranteed that potential victims will be unarmed. In Virginia, you never know who might have a concealed weapon.

Seriously, Reddit keeps a much bigger thumb on the scale than DCUM. Compared to Reddit, DCUM is almost (almost) fair and balanced (pun intended).
