If the kids looked “different” (and clearly you meant “white”, since you think only white people live in the boonies), this would’ve been leading the 24/7 news cycle for weeks. But they weren’t different. They were black. So it barely got a mention.

I think Breitbart still has a column "black crime" perhaps you should go there?

Humans should be evaluated based on their own actions, not based on groupings by race, religion etc.

Today's WP Metro Section talked about the rise of/non-prosecution of hate crimes in the District. Apparently there was a vicious attack on U street a while ago...charges against the adult dropped, and we will never know about the two minors (how their case was dispensed) due to DC's strong protection for minors under the Youth Justice Acts that provide them complete anonymity.

Not sure the Hilton thing was a hate crime. It was good old fashioned aggravated assault. The reason or motive is irrelevant. It was a violent crime and it needs to be prosecuted else they’ll do it again and others will be emboldened to do it as well.
