As*. A weekend could mean F/S/S. |
| Usually. Just a small 4-6oz glass because I am from France. Not one of your giant 12oz American glasses. |
|
My dad grew up in an Italian family and he and my mom drank a small 4-6 ounce glass of wine every night with dinner. He lived until his late 90s and she’s still alive and living independently in her late 90s.
Most of my siblings also have a glass of wine with dinner and they are healthy in their 70s. I do not in part because it’s a pain to buy wine in Maryland, and in part because I’d rather spend my calories on sweets. I know all the research now says even 1 glass a day is not good but I just can’t see it as that big a problem. If that’s the case you’d think Italians and French would have much higher rates of cancer, and the just don’t. I do think most Americans just drink too much in general though. Although that now seems on the decline. |
| No. It isn’t good for you. Plus, it is a boomer thing. Young people don’t drink wine. Just the olds. |
| They're replacing it with gummies. |
Being healthy, eating well, looking younger than you are, and not being a nitwit boomer addicted to vice like wine and liquor is not cringe. |
