Do you drink wine every night?

Every night. Lunch too.

Only a glass weekend evenings.

During the summer I drink 5-7 nights a week.

Weeknight I split a bottle with my H.

During Fall I drink 4 nights a week. F/sat Sunday football and a random happy hour or wine with dinner.

Winter I hibernate.

So judgy. According to people on this thread, virtually all French, Italian and Spanish, among other, adults are alcoholics who cannot function the next day . . . as others have noted, sigh.

So every night and probably every lunch is NOT a problem of alcoholism? I kind of think it is.

No, and it is super tacky

"But the French do it" isn't really a way to figure out if you're an alchie.

No. Maybe two glasses per week - one Friday night and one Saturday night. But sometimes it's only half a glass before I switch to water.

All you people who only drink a glass two days a week ... do you only drink out? If I buy a bottle of wine, it’s 4+ glasses and DH doesn’t drink. Leads to me drinking a glass 4 nights on a row and then not for a while. I wish the half bottles had better wine.

Mostly out but sometimes at home too if I have company or a bad day at work. I won't finish a bottle myself so at a restaurant I order a glass of wine unless I have someone to share a bottle with. DH is a beer guy so he seldom drinks wine.

No. In your shoes, say I open a bottle on Friday: I'd drink it over Friday, Saturday, Sunday. If only two nights, I'd have two glasses Friday and Saturday each and chuck the remainder.

Not every night, but it's not unusual for me to have a glass with dinner. It's a nice way to wind down after a very busy day. (I get up to work out at 5:00, work a full day, coach several youth sports and have a lot of responsibilities. Being able to have a glass means my work is done.)

I would be worthless at work if I drank nightly

I usually don't, but when I do, my pour is 2 ounces of white. Would that make you worthless at work the next day? Heck, I could drink that AT work and be fine.

NP: If we open a red, it almost always ends up in the compost by the end of the week. But a bottle of white will keep for a week in my opinion.

Not every night because sometimes I run out.
