The White House pushed back against an exhaustive investigation published by The New York Times on Tuesday that alleged Donald Trump perpetrated various tax schemes and fraud during the 1990s to bolster the inheritance he received from his parents, calling the report a “misleading attack” on the president’s family.

How is this an attack? The Times isn't accusing the Trunp family of anything, it's just a factual report.

A lot of posters here claim to be attorneys. Can he be charged? Could this be made in to a RICO case? A continuing criminal enterprise? The millions of dollars the family must owe in taxes might help reduce the national deficit.

So Trump accepted over $400m from his father, numerous properties and still ended up with 6 bankruptcies and far less than if he had just invested in the S&P at the time. And still he had to launder Russian money to stay afloat.

This is NOT a good businessman.

Didn't read the article so I don't have all the facts. While I don't doubt that Trump is implicated in any tax fraud scheme with respect to his family money, another part of me asks, "is this guy really that intelligent and sophisticated enough to orchestrate it?" This is the guy who thinks because we're importing more than we're exporting, hence we are "losing on trade".
