I think PP meant that Lindsay had just had a baby. Jen gave birth in 2012, and Lindsay gave birth in 2013, so not that far apart.

I'm in the minority apparently, but I think she (Lindsay Shockus) is attractive. She's not a celeb and doesn't have the benefit of all the extra help that they have in terms of make-up, hair, etc. I don't get why people are being so mean about her appearance. I agree with the PP who said she looks a bit like Amy Smart.

Also, even if she wasn't attractive, who cares? Maybe he actually emotionally connects with her. Looks aren't everything plus he's past his prime at this point.

We actually don't know who else Ben has has been screwing longterm, since this only just came out. And nothing about his screwing history says brains are his top requirement- as Paltrow once said, his perfect match would be any stripper from Scores.

His new girlfriend isn't conventionally attractive, but that doesn't matter. Maybe she's a hard partier, and they have that in common. And she seems scrappy, if the rumor of her telling Jen she wasn't going anywhere is true. She and Ben probably have a lot of fun and are a good match, but intellect doesn't have much to do with it.
