Apparently the new/old gf is the reason Garner and Afflleck actually divorced. Garner flew out to New York to confront the gf years ago and tell her to back off, but the gf said, "nope."

Wow, you're delusional. They have both denied the timeline saying that they only started dating after their marriages had essentially ended. Just because Ben and Jen were publicly photographed with their kids doesn't mean their marriage hadn't already ended. I think he's a douche, but I also think she put him through the paces (publicly) to punish and control him.

I think JLo and Jen were demanding and superficial. I suspect someone who works at SNL is far more fun...probably a party-hard creative type who doesn't boss him around and is more fun in bed.

The People article is odd, in that it gives equal space to the theory that they were having an affair when both still married and that they've only recently started dating. It doesn't really come down on one side or the other.

I will say it is nice to see Ben dating someone age-appropriate and who has a successful career in her own right. I have met Lindsay a few times and she is a very nice and engaging person. It must be difficult for her as a non-celebrity to suddenly be in the public eye and having her looks criticised all over the Internet.

I agree he never seemed all that into her but his career would have been over had he not married Garner, especially when she was pregnant. His career was hanging on by a thread after the Bennifer fiasco and marrying Jennifer2 made him appear lmore settled and stable.
