Now he's a total loon.

+1, loved the idea of Romney-Huckabee as a ticket in 2012, but they could never get along. Huckabee still to this day cannot come to terms that outside the Huckabee house, he'll never he the guy.

The latest he'd ever speak at a RNC convention is like 7:30 if that.

I'm a Democrat. I've liked Jon Huntsman and Bill Weld in recent years. I quite liked Mitt Romney, too. I also like Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe.

There are also a number of Republicans that I respect, even theough I can't say I "like" them because I disagree too strongly with their political views. I'd count John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and John Kasich in this group.

Paul Ryan has been a huge disappointment to me. I expected better from him. I'm growing to despise Jeff Sessions, but I never much liked him anyway.

I forgot Huntsman and Weld. They at least seem grounded in reality.

I liked Hintsman as well until his family performed piano recital for Trump, I think first week. But I do think he's decent.

Ron Paul on the other side - maybe Rand as well.

+1 except I am more tepid on Romney.
and +10000000 on Ryan. I didn't agree with his policy positions but thought he was a decent human being with morals. He has sold his soul and I am betting that at the end of the day, his support of Trump will destroy his political career.
Burr has so far worked fairly well with Warner, so I'd add him and Ben Sasse to the list.
