Going back a ways, a total showbreaker was the Caroline in the City romance of Caroline and Richard. The actor was so flamingly gay it was absurd.

So many on Eastenders--Little Mo and Alfie, Grant and Jane, Sonya and Jaime, Pat and Patrick. . . .

I remember that show! It was terrible overall, but they could have gotten more mileage out of it if they had steered the storyline about how she realizes her "boyfriend" is gay.

I thought the parents were very realistic as a couple but not Ray & Debra. She was more physicallyattractive, from a different socio-economic background & seemed a bit too sophisticated or snobby (depending on how you looked at it) to end up.married to a goofy sports writer & living in Queens.

This is bizarre...they look like the most realistic couple...probably because they are a real couple?? They literally look like all of my parents friends who have been married for 40 plus years. She is a little over the top, and so is he, but they :unrealistic" doesn't describe them at all.
