AUGH! Why can't there be a rational discussion about gun control without the so called defenders of the Constitution scream about taking away their guns.

I just want something that makes it more difficult for people to get a gun. Everyone should have a license, mandatory background checks, eliminate automatic weapons, etc.

There are lots of other ways you can get a gun - without a background check - than at a gun store. And there are many semi-automatics that can be converted to automatic with a kit sold by the manufacturer.

There are lots of other ways you can get a gun - without a background check - than at a gun store. And there are many semi-automatics that can be converted to automatic with a kit sold by the manufacturer.

You can purchase cars by owner, and I used to have a car reprogrammed to push out more HP that would fail emissions. I'd reprogram it back, do the test and program it back for performance.

So, your argument that over regulating it will stop things doesn't work. People will find ways.
