Meanwhile, in Florida, man exercising 2nd Amendment rights kills his son at a firing range. If he hadn't been able to use his 2nd Amendment rights, his son would be alive.

The story makes no sense. An armed home invasion at 6 PM? There's more to this other than a fuckwit gunowner who thinks God was okay with him shooting someone over some cash and cell phones. Sounds like he was quite the marksman.

What's your point? Nobody is trying to take away yoyr right to keep a gun in your house for self defense. We simply want proper background checks, registration and training. Since this man was successful, I have a feeling he would have passed a test with flying colors. Therefore, reasonable gun laws would not have prevented him from saving the day. However, it might have prevented the intruder from getting a gun.
