| I hope OP and her DH are ok. |
| Me too. OP, please do something to get him to a hospital. |
So very sorry for the both of you. Hugs to you both.
Mental illness IS a very serious disease as I am quite sure you already know. He needs to see a professional ASAP. He severely needs to be on some medication as well as attend therapy sessions with a licensed therapist who has lots of professional experience dealing with depression. If he refuses to take the necessary steps to get the help he so desperately needs, then it sadly will be up to you to do it. |

I'm the OP.
Thank you for all of the supportive messages. Many of you gave such helpful advice and I'm incredibly grateful. I got DH to provide the name of his doctor, and I'll be calling him today to inform him about the weekend's events. DH is also going to call today and get a script for a short term supply of meds. |
| Thanks for the update, OP. Please let us know how it goes. Wishing you the best. |
| OP you are a military or veteran spouse. There is support for you. Call the VA, Belvoir, the nearest base. You are not alone. Facebook military wives or 22 to many. |
