PLEASE STOP USING THAT TERM IMMEDIATELY. There is NO confirmation of that possibility at this time.

If you must, the correct term for speculating is "security issue."

Lady, I'm quoting CNN. Please don't all-caps me. Nothing was typed to offend anyone, it was typed as a direct quote from a newsite.

Go take a look - http://www.cnn.com/

You can't ban people from using the term "terrorism" on a forum board speculating on a plane crash.

Just stop. We don't know the facts yet. Shit gets spun and the true narrative changes. This is a tragedy, and again, we don't know yet what happened.

She didn't ban you. She forcefully asked you to refrain from sharing news that ISN'T NEWS yet. And yes, I went all caps on you.

Good Lord. Even the Egyptian officials are saying it was likely terror.
I think people can handle the speculating..........

CNN is generally regarded as news and they're saying more likely terror than technical.

The mis-statements by Egyptian officials have nothing whatsoever to do with controlling the narrative.

This is a discussion thread - what are we discussing if we aren't sharing possible causes? The plane either had mechanical failure, was the target of terrorism, or the pilot took the plane down (could or could not be terrorism). I'm not sure why saying that one of these is the more likely cause of the plane going down (per the news - who happen to be quoting actual sources, not speculating) is a problem for you.

Attack more likely behind Egypt plane crisis than technical fault: Egypt minister - http://www.reuters.com/

Right, we don't know what happened which is why we are discussing it and using phrases such as "likely" and "possible", not phrases such as "was with 100% certainty".

LOL. It was the Bush administration that went all Orwellian language on us, not Obama.
