Who watched last night? It was game of a game changer for me. I hate to say it but Catherine is growing on me a little bit. The bitchiness factor was high last night. The whole birthday party fiasco made Landon look like a totally bitch. Rather than own what she did, she lied about inviting Catherine and then blamed her for not showing up. Oh, and she is obviously not so secretly in love with Shep. I have to laugh at her -- meeting with investors when she can't even describe her project.
I was disappointed with how condescending Cam was to Catherine when she called her. Rather than just say, "no thanks" or "maybe another time", she lectured her on what she "should" be doing. Normally I think Patricia is awesome. Made me think less of her knowing that she disowned Cooper for basically asking if everything was ok between them. What else? This show is like crack for me. Ugh. |

I think Landon is self absorbed to the extreme. It was Shep's party. But it seemed to be about what she wanted. We all know a birthday party with no alcohol for Shep was a no no. Also, he wanted Kathryn invited.but Landon ignored then lied.
I can see Cam's point. Thomas and Kathryn are a shitload of drama and it's exhausting. The cooper/Patricia issue is ridiculous. |
| So funny watching clueless Craig talk to his current girlfriend about how he had wanted to hook up with Catherine as a trophy score. She seemed to take it in stride though. |
I couldn't understand all the hate for Landon until this episode. Now, I get it. Self absorbed, whiny, conniving, and so annoying with the cutesy face, voice thing. |
|
Landon: She's tragic. She lies, she wasn't prepared for the business meeting (that was horrible to watch), she's a mess.
Craig: He's also tragic. It was so uncomfortable watching him during the bourbon tasting. I thought he was going to throw himself on the floor and start flailing his arms and legs. I will be surprised if Naomi stays with him -- he doesn't want to work. |
| Landon and Craig can't be for real right. Landon is a poor little spoiled rich girl. Craig, ugh, he's so annoying. Pay your dues both of you. |
They are the epitome of people who were raised always being told they are amazing and never being allowed to struggle and figure things out. |
|
I totally agree that Landon is a total mess. However, I'm on her side with regard to Katherine and Shep's birthday.
Katherine got in her face, told Landon to f*** off and shoved her middle finger in her face. There's no way I would ever invite that person to a party I was hosting, even if the guest of honor requested it. I would have told Shep it's either me or her (wouldn't have lied about it though). I can't believe anyone would have ANY empathy for Katherine. The nicest thing I could call her would be a whore. Seriously. |
Remember last season when they went to Craig's house and all of his awards were hanging up all over his room? I think he was in XC or horse riding or something. Good grades? I don't remember, but I do remember there were a LOT of awards plastered around his childhood bedroom. So, I agree with you PP. He has been "amazing" his whole life, but his life has been spent in small town Lewes, DE (no offense, Lewes, DE residents). He appeared to be a big, nerdy fish in a small pond. His brother was way hotter, more athletic and seemed to be more the life of the party (we met him when they were playing lacrosse in a park in Charleston last season...strange). So he wanted to get out of his brother's shadow and took off for SC. I think Craig's D-List fame, plus the fact that he hangs out with Shep all the time, makes him think he doesn't have to work hard. He is DYING to get a ring on poor Naomi's finger. I hope she wises up before then... |
I'm the PP and I totally agree! I actually feel bad for JD because he is going to have to be the one to tell Craig life isn't fair and that you need to work hard. I can't remember the blonde girl's name (the thin one who is in the wine/liquor industry) but her look of shock and amazement over Craig's behavior was priceless. |
|
PP-The blonde is Danni. The look on her face was quite memorable.
I wondered if JD just got stuck giving Craig a job so he'd return this season? The whole Elizabeth/Catherine conversation was telling. C had no reason to behave the way she did at the polo match. |
| Elizabeth seems genuinely nice and caring. I think JD gave Craig a job so he and his brand would have more screen time. Landon is coming across terrible this season. She should have stayed married to her sugar daddy in LA because it is clear she wants the gold handcuffs. They way she is pining after Thomas is pathetic. I can't imagine her ex was any worse then Thomas. |

Landon is a fake b***h. Katherine saw that way earlier and right through the "heehee I act like a little girl so you should like me" crap. She can keep a really good poker face as she lies, lies, lies. Her 'pitch' was hilarious.
Cameron's real mean girl streak is finally showing. I could see it as little bits and pieces here and there before but she always tried to at least keep it contained from public knowledge. Now that she's in good with the other mean girls of the group- Patricia and Whitney, she's comfortable letting it out. I respect her more for at least being less fake. Thomas is still a creep. Katherine, she's so young. She has a lot of growing to do and two pregnancies and a selfish baby daddy along with keeping up with the drama filled adult children crowd she associates with is enough to make even the most sane person go batshit sometimes. Shep is a little annoying, but I like him. He has heart. It was nice to see how he was trying to be there for Craig at that awkward bourbon tasting. I feel for Craig. He shouldn't have thought he could jump into the division of his choosing, that was shortsighted. He thinks his credentials and work ethic are enough. He needs more experience for sure. He also thinks he's in with his 'friends' way more than he actually is. He will always be the outsider of the group since he'll always be considered the Yankee and he doesn't come from wealth. One or the other would have been fine, but not both. The southern dynamic is very "good ol boy" and if you are a man that has to work to live + don't have southern connections, they'll let you play along but will always remind you of your place. |
| I can't tell if PP thinks Whitney is a girl or just lumped him in with the "mean girls" with his mom but it made me laugh |
Omg same |
