Southern Charm

I do think Jennifer shouldn't have called Kathryn from the party, but I'm on her and Kathryn's side. T-Rav sucks and his, Whitney and Patricia's ganging up on her and kicking her oout was really pathetic.

Langdon is the worst. She needs a gag.

Loved Cameron falling in the bushes.

I'm pretty sure none of those ladies eat cheese grits!

They are missing out then

I don't get all the hate for Landon. While I do feel for Kathryn, there's no doubt she's also being fairly manipulative.

If the bits are true about her drug issues, TRav has excellent reason for his stress.

Even if they are not, the fact he went to his friend's at a very early hour and expressed concern like he did, and was willing to make sure she got her house was admirable. I don't think he's all bad - I think he really does care for those kids, and for Kathryn as well.

Calling Kathryn like that proved TRav correct. Jennifer knew she had just been released from the hospital. Why upset her?

Whitney and Patricia were correct - if she wanted to call Kathryn, she should have left first.

Nothing about that man is admirable. He's irresponsible and has been the main stressor in Kathryn's life. From ignoring her, to harassing her, to excluding her, to telling everyone she's crazy. He's much older than her and is nothing but a bully. Bullying her and her one friend.

He's busy spending $$$ on a new home and all she wanted was a co-signer on a lease. A lease. Not a for him to buy her a house. If you can't even ask the father of your toddler and unborn child to help you out than that's a problem. And that would stress the hell out of anyone, especially while pregnant.

He is such a disgusting creep. Kathryn is so immature that I can't see how the two of them could tolerate one another. Whitney creeps me out even more though. He is such an eletist mysoginist and just yuck. I'm sick of seeing his mom. I don't think she makes for an interesting story line. The problem is that none of the young'uns does anything very interesting. How did Landon get on the show? All she does is pine for Shep and make her dolphin noises.

I don't see how this show is haning on when none of them do anything other than drink and procreate.

Landon and Shep are too old to be living like they are. Shep is a mid-30s man who sleeps in until noon, does not have a regular job and sleeps with 20 year olds. Landon is way past her peak, similarly does not do anything, and acts/dresses like a cutesie 20-something but is going on 35 years old. Don't get me started on Thomas or Whitney. Oof.

There is nothing smart about Thomas. He is an alcoholic and he blames everyone else for his problems.

I can't stand Landon, but I think she has a cool sense of style and isn't dressing too young for her age...yet.

I wonder how much of Landon's interest in Shep as a boyfriend is because of who Shep is, or because of how much money he has. It cracks me up how they show her get so annoyed with the girls he brings around!

This I don't understand. She is clearly into Thomas for his money and lifestyle. But she had all that in la and left it. Now she's just falling for the same jerk rich men who will repeat the cycle.

That's not all she wants at all. She has said before that she wants Thomas to provide for her and her children so they have a similar living situation with both parents. And she has said more than once that Thomas promised her she wouldn't want for anything after the baby was born. He's a fool and she tried to hop on his gravy train and basically they are both idiots.

Also, some of the things they alluded to in the last episode made me think that Thomas cheated on Kathryn with Jennifer Snowden, and now she and Kathryn are friends? Don't get that.

Kathryn stated a few episodes back that she knew that Jennifer and Thomas hooked up. I guess she really doesn't care because they are such good friends now. Although Kathryn slept with all of Thomas' friends too...remember when she first thought she was pregnant (false alarm) and they didn't know who the baby daddy was. Shep appeared to breathe the biggest sigh of relief when it wasn't him....

What's wrong with Shep living the way he does? He owns his own house and at least one successful business. He explained how he has money coming in. Frankly, as long as he isn't living off tax dollars he can live however he wants. If he wants to hunt and fish every day, go ahead. If he wants to hook up with randos every night, have at it.
