Wow, I've never really looked at pictures of their son closely but he really does look like he has FAS. That is just SO sad. Those poor children. I wish one of them had a great mom or sister who could step in to raise them. Being stuck in the guest house with a nanny is no way to go through childhood.

I am sorry to agree that there is something wrong with the son and it could be FAS. In season one, Katherine took Thomas to meet her parents and they seemed ok. I can't believe they haven't stepped in at all.

She's not a full cast member. It's like on Season 1 when Katherine wasn't out there the whole time.

Wow, I just looked too and you are right - the boy has facial features associated with FAS. But he seems like a happy, healthy baby on the show so hopefully he's okay. She shouldn't have custody if she can't put her kids' welfare over her drinking.

Whitney took himself out of the opening credits/full cast this season.

Wow. I didn't really know about FAS and looked it up after reading these comments, and then his pick. PPs are right.

This must explain why Katherine lost custody of the kids to Thomas., and why she has to give him money for support. It makes sense now.

will someone post a pic that demonstrates this? I don't really see it. He looks a lot like kenzie did when she was a baby. maybe that is just the way they look?
