Uh did you ever see parade magazine? The annual salary listing is one of the most popular. It's just interesting.

I find it really disturbing how many people list "Fed" and list six-figure salaries. This is our tax dollars! OMG. No wonder our country runs a deficit...

1- go the fuck away. why shouldn't attorneys, doctors, nurses, accountants, engineers etc be paid decent wages commensurate with education and experience?

2- if you want to blame excessive spending on something, blame military spending.

3- these are. not this is.

Grad student: $0
Lobbiest husband: $125

We're not living extravagantly, but somehow manage to keep the kids in daycare, a decent enough roof over our heads, and some mini vacations. Wish we could be adding more to the college funds, but there will be time for that when I'm working again.

We have complimentary schedules so we save a ton on child care and don't feel poor.

If you're still reading this, what type of restaurant? My husband's hours don't allow this to work out reliably.

2 graduate degrees, 20 years of experience, but according to you I should not list a six figure salary...
