DH (48) makes $140K as an IT systems architect for a government contractor. |

I like this thread. Not all lawyers and $$$ salaries.
Engineer, 40. $100k. Like my work and like many engineers wasn't focused on money side of 'work' until older. Though I guess all the young engineers these days dream of building a startup unicorn and becoming a billionaire. |

Less pay but the hours are so much better. |
