I can't get past my new guys sexual past.

Here's a guy with a very similar question. Wife has done WORSE than what you describe here and gets the whole "well, she's different now..." Nonsense.

It's either good for everyone or good for nobody. But why should the guy suffer with this while women are told to run?

In my experience, men usually are the ones who are cut some slack when they have a wild sexual past.

Ok. But this entire thread has been telling this woman to run and he's got a bad past.

Then we read the same thing with gender roles reversed and his previously-whored-up wife is now "a different person."

I have yet to read a thread where men have been given a pass on this, despite your statement.

No, not the entire thread.

I can't fathom sleeping with a married man, regardless of the situation. I believe the past should be the the past but I am disgusted and don't know d I could move past this.

Sleeping with someone who is married says they are someone that lacks morals, is selfish, sex is an emotionless act to them so they can do it with ANYONE even if they are married, perverted (If he slept with over 50 married women it means he probably has a fetish for them or it is a turn on for him). This guy will probably end up cheating on you.

They're cut some slack but when it comes to dating someone who not only had that many partners but who slept with half of DC's wives (probably some who are on here)! then any woman who values herself, health, body, and morals wouldn't date that kind of man. Maybe a slut would though.

Hamsters gonna hamster. This thread is awesome. Women love telling women to run away from men who have fucked everything.........and love telling men to "man up" and stop being so "insecure" about a woman who has an insane past but is "different now."

Even when it's right here, in writing, it's denied. LOL.

No. He isn't disgusting. You're an "insecure woman" who needs to "woman up" and realize he wants to be with you now.

As women have pointed out over and over, if the woman has a sexually crazy past and has now chosen said guy for a relationship, said guy is regularly told to "man up" and "not ruin a good thing" because of her past. To do otherwise is "slut shaming" and makes him a "big baby" and he needs to "man up."

Follow the advice of your fellow women or expect nobody to take you seriously. Ever.
