Stokes & a few other DCI feeders out of curiosity.
Not sure we would take it if we got in since we are pretty happy where we are.

I thought it was 6 with plans to extend charter for middle school? There was a mention of hs at an early orientation last year, but I took that as just dreaming (lots of admin/staff/patent enthusiasm but I don't see hs happening unless there is some kind of experiential learning feeder plan involving multiple schools like IT and Rivers and CM etc.)

It would sort of make sense if there was some effort to create a Montessori charter for middle/high school. There are number of charter (and public) Montessori programs in DC and right now they get through elementary school and are just... done. Have to switch to a totally different method of instruction.

The admin team at Lee have expressed their wish to team up with other Montessori schools to create a Montessori middle/high school that they all feed in to.

Isn't the only option to team up with at this point Shining Stars?

Could LAMB feed to both a Montessori HS and DCI?

I second the statement about the Lee admin team having expressed their wish to create a Montessori HS. At their final open house this year, they said that, and when a prospective parent commented "like a Montessori equivalent to DCI?", they agreed.

As someone not currently at A deal, DCI, or Montessri Feeder, would love this option! I don't see the PCSB approving any other charter middles/high schools though if they get they're act together and work with DCPS. Why to talk to Brookland Middle about a montessori program?

Shining Stars, Capitol Hill at Logan, LAMB, Langdon... are there other DCPS Montessoris?

I feel like there was another for the early years, but I'm too lazy to look it up. It wouldn't necessarily feed from just public Montessori's; I believe the very very preliminary discussions have involved at least one private in NW.
