irritated - rsvp 24 hours in advance of the birthday

Yes several kids showed up to my party who did not rsvp. I had told the laser tag place it would be 22 people, and instead it was 25. I luckily had brought extra goody bags, and we had plenty of pizza and cake. I too don't agree with a B list. I usually invite a few more people than what I would really like, so that if a few don't come, we still have the "right" number. I have never gone anywhere with a firm cap. The venues I have used just charge extra for more kids.
