Daycare? So your kid is what, 3? OP's kid is 9...
|
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! |
|
My child is 8. She was in a daycare at the community center while we were in a nutrition class in an effort to lose weight this summer. Why can't an 8 year old be in daycare? |
Why the eye roll? |
9 is still young. The flippant " ... we've got it (now leave...), and ...oh by the way, your DC got hurt, but we didn't call... oh well" that would worry me because thee is such a lack of respect. I would question whether they ever looked up from their drinks, or just kept on snap chatting. |
|
No, would not have called. Child was okay and you would be picking her up shortly anyway.
Kids fall, get bumps and bruises all day long. It's a part of being a kid. |
I didn't read the mothers response as flippant at all. There was a gaggle of mommies around. You know they all rushed at OP' daughter like a pack of mother hens. And I'm sure each and everyone of them has had their share of Fall/ Bruise duty. |
| Would not have expected a call, but if I were the host I would have made the call. You just never really know the special circumstances of a child or his/her family. |
Actually, really, I do not know any such thing. And neither do you. Judging from the DD response she was in pain and they said oh sh**t we weren't paying attention now what |
Oh yes I do. I know mommies. And I know how a group of mommies behave when a kid is hurt. OP's daughter will survive. |
OMG, that is so funny!!! Seriously? |
You are the mommie expert? |
Yup! |
