my 5yo fell off the bed at night landed on the hard wood floor. we took her to chiro. It turned out she really busted her lower back during the fall. after 2 chiro visits she was back to normal.

OP's kid is 9...

My child is 8. She was in a daycare at the community center while we were in a nutrition class in an effort to lose weight this summer. Why can't an 8 year old be in daycare?

No, would not have called. Child was okay and you would be picking her up shortly anyway.

Kids fall, get bumps and bruises all day long. It's a part of being a kid.

There was a gaggle of mommies around. You know they all rushed at OP' daughter like a pack of mother hens. And I'm sure each and everyone of them has had their share of Fall/ Bruise duty.
