Where did you go, OP?

Wondering about the demographic posting here. I am 49 and would not be seen dead iny any of the shoes posted on this thread and neither would any of my friends/ acquaintances who are in the 30-55 age range. I am completely baffled. Is everyone posting from far away suburbia? Who wears these types of shoes?

So what would you and your friends wear, given that the sandals must be low heeled and comfortable? Show us some of your super chic picks.

Have you noticed that all of the suggestions have essentially been shot down by responders? No one is reaching consensus on these picks. So don't think you're the only one who thinks they're all "butt."

I'm 48 and I agree that most of these sandals I would not wear. The Bella Vitas might be the ONE exception, although I will admit that I have not looked at all of the suggestions, just most of them.

I'm 41 and live in Old Town. I don't have a suburban look. More of a hipster (aging hipster, at this point, alas) look. Which I think these shoes can all be fine for.

But also I don't care that much - I wear what I like, and what I like is somewhat clompy shoes that I can walk for miles and miles and miles in. I wear a lot of clogs. I'm sure you'd hate those, too.

I think people were suggesting styles based on OP's link rather than showing sandals they actually wear.

Very old lady/gardener in VT, not cute at all by anyone's standards. Why not get a cute pair of Bernardos or Frye sandals something if it's sandals/flip flops you are looking for. http://www.thefryecompany.com/women-sandals-shoes/l/125
