Booze. I cannot stand the taste, beer, wine, whatever, and my body is bad at metabolizing the alcohol so I never get a buzz but go straight to sick and nauseous.
I'm always the designated driver. Ugh. |
| Beans and peas. Don't know if it's a texture issue, or something stemming from my childhood, but I literally gag trying to eat any type of legume. |
| Tomatoes & mushrooms. I like spaghetti sauce, I like chili, I like tomato sauce, but I can't eat a tomato to save my life. The texture of them, and mushrooms, just gets to me. I even tried giant portobellos. Flavor, yum. Weird texture, ick. Lobster is up there too, and I've had it fresh caught that day and prepared a multitude of ways. Still don't care for it. But I like calamari and shrimp. Go figure. |
I wish I liked bananas, period. They are good for you and portable but I just can't do it. |
| eggs..they are cheap and relatively good for folks w/o a dietary issue. |
Op here. Kind of tickled that one of *my* posts got 6 pages! Thank you. Thank you...

Cheese. It has such an odd consistency to it and it gets oozy and gluey when it is heated.
It is in everything! |
+1, I want to like it but its fish. |
| Tofu |
I am right there with you. Once the spots start to show, I am done! |
| Kale. |
| Goat cheese. Cilantro. Eggplant. |
| Fish |
| Fish. I just don't like it. |

Onions.
Hate them, hate the way they make people's breath smell. I can smell from a mile away when someone's been eating onions. And nearly every recipe seems to call for them. I feel like I'm a picky eater mostly because I'm always trying to avoid dishes with onions in them. |
