| Spicy foods. I like a lot of flavor and seasoning, but too much heat gives me stomach cramps and heartburn. A friend keeps offering me his awesome homemade salsa, but it's super-hot and I just can't do it. I love curry, but it has to be really mild. |
| Sushi too. It is supposed to be so good for you but I just don't like the taste or mouth feel. Love licorice/anise. I can't wait for the big bags of black jelly beans that appear around Easter. |
|
I'm so with all of you on the olives. They ruin the flavor of everything. I do like/use olive oil.
I also wish I liked sushi. I don't have an issue with the raw part, I just don't think it is all that special. I'll eat it but to me all if it is meh. |
Me too! |
|
Rare meats - the taste of blood makes me want to wretch
Seafood (oysters, squid, lobster, etc) Bitter greens like radicchio I like fennel just fine; I was unaware so many people used it in their cooking. |
| I wish I liked bananas at all stages of ripeness. The freckley ones make me gag, and there's only so much banana bread I can make. |
| Quinoa. I hate the texture and it tastes like dirt. |
I hereby bequeath all my black jellybeans to you--yuck! |
|
Fruit. the only fruit I eat are perfectly yellow bananas and avocados - no melon, berries, pars, plums, etc.
Its very hard to diet when I wont eat any of the healthy desserts. |
+1 Hate it, hate it, hate it |
You do realize that the red liquid in meat is not blood, right? |
| Mexican. It's always the go-to when we get together with friends, but I never like anything on the menu except for margaritas. Hate tortillas and anything wrapped in them; hate raw onions, avocado, cumin, and melted cheese all over my food. |
| Cilantro and coffee |
I hate the texture - it grosses me out. I always feel like I have a big mouthful of crunchy cells in my mouth. yuk |
+1 Quinoa will hopefully go the way of the cabbage soup diet. |
