+1 million. If I had a nickel for every raw tomato I picked out of food over the years...! |
Me too! I hate olives and hate the anise flavor. Of course, MIL puts anise in everything. Totally ruins things. |
| Sushi. Can't bear the thought of it. I know it's not all raw fish and certain varieties are totally vegetarian, but just the fact that my food has been sitting near raw fish -- shudder. I find I get some raised eyebrows -- living in a big city and in the professional world, people expect you to be open minded enough to deal. |
| Sardines. |
| Peanut butter |
| In order: blue cheese or scallops/squid/oysters |
NP here -- we should have lunch! |

I seriously can't think of anything that I can't/won't eat. Some things I like less than others, but I'm fine with most stuff.

Red peppers. Generally I just pick them out of the food, but the taste is SO overwhelming for me that I don't really enjoy the meal. A lot of restaurant food seems to have red pepper in it.
Oddly enough, I like green, yellow, and orange peppers |
| Lettuce-and-tomatoes on sandwiches. YUCK! |
| Cantaloupe, sushi, quinoa, |
| Capers, kale, asparagus |
Agreed! But they're in everything, and all my friends like them. Wish I did, too. |
Another olive hater here! Black and green. Unlike a PP I don't like olive tapenade, olive bread, or anything olive-related other than olive oil. Also cannot tolerate feta/goat cheese, which is in everything these days. I keep waiting for goat cheese to be passe, but it doesn't seem to be happening. Sigh. |
| Another anise/licorice hater. I don't think I will ever wish I liked it, as I think it is an overpowering flavor that kills any other flavor in a dish. I shudder just thinking about it. |
